Desert Monks Brewing: Hibiscus Lime Hard Seltzer

Desert Monks Brewing is a true craft micro-brewer, turning out small batch beer, seltzer, and sodas with only 5 barrels of each style being released at any given time. Their focus is on beer, not branding—but there’s no reason both can’t equally push the envelope. I didn’t want to rewrite or fight their brand (yet) with a label design, so I took their concept of desert Trappist-style brewing and illustrated a luminary-style centerpiece, referencing a stained-glass rosary window.

The project has been a rousing success, and has led to a future overhaul of all their labels.
