People want to read, but don't want to spend their time or money on books they don't like. If you want a personalized recommendation for music, a tv show, or a movie, all you have to do is as the Spotify or Netflix algorithm to give you one. So why is it so hard to get suggestions for books?

Alexandria is an app concept prototype that would solve this problem by recommending books with similar traits as your other favorites, going beyond the genre.
