The Arizona Supreme Court sought a creative design for its 2024-2029 Strategic Agenda, aiming for a publication that was not only judicially emblematic but also visually engaging and easy to navigate. This strategic agenda serves as a crucial roadmap, outlining key initiatives and goals to guide the judicial system's efforts over the next five years, making it an essential resource for courthouses statewide.
I approached this project by developing a cohesive brand and designing an engaging 24-page booklet that captures attention and conveys key information effectively. To enhance readability, I introduced a color-coded system for the five strategic goals, each paired with a unique icon. This visual organization allows readers to easily navigate the agenda and quickly identify each section.
To create visual cohesion, I incorporated rope elements throughout the design, inspired by the circular rope that surrounds the AZ Supreme Court logo. The color palette expands on the Court's existing brand colors, adding new hues to fit the project's needs while maintaining visual harmony. Additionally, I created a brand guide and a suite of complementary graphics, ensuring versatility across print, digital, and presentation materials.
The final booklet received national recognition, along with praise that it is the best strategic agenda the Court has ever had. This project transformed what could have been a monotonous document into a dynamic tool that reflects the Arizona Supreme Court’s values of fairness, accessibility, and justice.

Working with the Arizona Supreme Court was a major milestone for Composion this year. Knowing my design will be used in every courthouse across the state for the next five years is incredibly exciting! As a designer, I’m passionate about using visual communication to create a positive impact, and projects like this truly give purpose to my work. Another highlight of this year was continuing my role as Communications Director for Phoenix Design Week with AIGA Arizona. Being part of Arizona's inspiring design community is so rewarding, and I love connecting with fellow creatives who share a vision for impactful design.
