Arizona Department of Health Heat Safety Animation

We live in Arizona. It's flippin' hot. We got a chance to do a small project for the Department of Health Services on being sunwise and wanted it to be more meaningful than a stock video piece or a motion graphics animation. By keeping the concept simple, the amount of characters/sets/animation minimal, embracing a more stop-motion style look and "rubber-hose" armature, we were able to create a compelling story that would be entertaining to watch while sharing some important information. Because we then had all the elements built, we were able to build out several more short social stories that extended the reach of the min-campaign.

This was meaningful for us because it was an important topic, we were able to flex our internal creative muscles and we got to work with Sammy at Big U who always makes projects better with his sound design talents.
