The Coconino County Elections Department hosted a sticker design contest, and my submission won! My design will be distributed to voters in the November 2024 general election. I aimed to create something timeless that captures the essence of Flagstaff by featuring its iconic three peaks framed by two ponderosa pines. The color palette mirrors those found in Coconino County’s logo. The stars subtly reference the American flag, adding a touch of patriotism. Across the sticker, the phrase 'I Voted' is boldly displayed, accompanied by a checkmark, promoting a sense of accomplishment after fulfilling a civic duty. Additionally, 'I Voted' is written in multiple languages spoken throughout the county, reflecting its rich cultural diversity and inclusivity.

Winning this contest and becoming part of Flagstaff’s history has been a defining moment for me. As a young designer, it’s the first time my work will be displayed to the public on such a large scale. It’s exciting to know my work will be part of the voting experience for so many this election season. Thank you to all who voted for my design and to Coconino County for this amazing opportunity.
