Simplot Foods participates in several trade shows throughout the year and they are always looking for fun SWAG items to hand out. The following is a collection of stickers that were produced for 2024. Since everyone loves a good pun, the concept was to develop some fun and lighthearted illustrations and sayings that would be enjoyed by their target audience of food service operators, restaurant owners and chefs. I illustrated and hand lettered each design using Adobe Illustrator on the iPad Pro. Some of the stickers were developed to promote their new products that they launched this year: Maple Waffle Flavored Waffle Fries and three flavored Avocado Spreads, including Dill Pickle and Tzatziki. These were so much fun to design and have been really well-received.

My family and I moved to Tucson a little over two years ago from Boise, Idaho and I couldn't be happier. It was the best decision that we have made. Arizona is an incredible place. I find inspiration everywhere I look – from the nature to the food and especially the art and design. I got involved with AIGA this past year and have really enjoyed meeting all of the amazing artists and designers associated with it. I am really excited to be more involved in this great art community. I attended my first Phoenix Design Week conference last year and I was really blown away. It was so inspiring! As a designer of 20+ years, I feel like coming to Arizona has really been a way to start my career anew, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
