Simplot Foods is U.S.-based frozen food manufacturer that specializes in products developed for the food service industry. The Trend Feast is a direct mail brochure designed to inspire food service operators and restaurant owners with the latest trends featuring beautiful photography, recipe ideas and helpful insights. Published in both spring/summer and fall/winter, it features recipes using many products from their vast portfolio. For each publication, the photography is planned, art directed and designed to have an inspiring, food magazine-type feel. The second spread of each brochure features a fold-out panel that showcases a two-page table scape. I have developed and designed each issue for the past several years. This is a favorite project that I am very proud of and excited to work on each time.

My family and I moved to Tucson a little over two years ago from Boise, Idaho and I couldn't be happier. It was the best decision that we have made. Arizona is an incredible place. I find inspiration everywhere I look – from the nature to the food and especially the art and design. I got involved with AIGA this past year and have really enjoyed meeting all of the amazing artists and designers associated with it. I am really excited to be more involved in this great art community. I attended my first Phoenix Design Week conference last year and I was really blown away. It was so inspiring! As a designer of 20+ years, I feel like coming to Arizona has really been a way to start my career anew, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
