The Paramount Network and FoodStory Brands partnered to create a ranch-inspired coffee brand modeled after the #1 televisions series, Yellowstone. We infused rustic textures and earthy tones into our package design to authentically capture the Yellowstone aesthetic.
Ensuring our product stands out on the shelf we opted for a dark wood background. Creating a visual contrast with the iconic Yellowstone logo. We then introduced a leather band of color to distinguish our flavor variations and framed the flavor banners with strips of tin. To further reinforce the Yellowstone brand, subtle overlays of the iconic Ranch House, Bunkhouse, and the exhilaration of roping’ on the range were strategically placed on the lower third of the package. A final touch came in the form of a rustic stamp proudly declaring that our beans are roasted in the USA.

Designing the Yellowstone Coffee packaging was an incredibly rewarding experience. One standout memory was the moment we unveiled the final design and saw how our vision resonated on shelf. We received accolades from GD USA and Licensing International of Excellence Awards for this innovative packaging. As a design community, we’ve evolved from mere aesthetics to creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. Looking ahead, I hope future designers continue to push boundaries while staying true to authenticity. As a native Phoenician, my contribution to Arizona's design landscape has been about merging local culture with innovative design, and I’m proud to have played a role in shaping our vibrant creative scene. Here’s to continuing to blend tradition with innovation!
