The idea of Suzhou Numbers in my time organization design project draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese numeral system, particularly known for its unique calligraphic style. The Suzhou Numbers, with their elegant and flowing strokes, provide a culturally rich and visually captivating way to represent time.

The experimental design process involved exploring different layouts, typographic treatments, and color schemes to effectively integrate the Suzhou Numbers into the digital application. This process required careful consideration of legibility, readability, and user experience, ensuring that users could easily interpret and understand the time displayed in Suzhou Numbers.

Various design iterations and user testing were conducted to refine the presentation of time using Suzhou Numbers. Feedback and insights from users were invaluable in optimizing the layout, typography, and overall visual appeal. Through this iterative process, the experimental design gradually evolved, striking a balance between preserving the traditional aesthetics of Suzhou Numbers and ensuring practicality and usability in a modern digital context.

In the Arizona desert, I embarked on a transformative journey as an international student and graphic designer, immersing myself in the vibrant world of branding and typography design. This year, I've witnessed the power of design to bridge cultures and create connections, particularly through the art of visual identity and typography. At Arizona State University, under the Arizona sun, I've learned from inspiring mentors and collaborated with talented peers to refine my skills. I've delved into the intricate dance of fonts and visual elements, crafting brands that tell compelling stories. Design in Arizona is a fusion of tradition and innovation, reflecting the warmth and diversity of this state. It's more than aesthetics; it's a tool for communication and change. My contribution has been a commitment to creativity, learning, and the belief that design can inspire change, especially when it comes to crafting meaningful brand experiences through typography. Looking ahead, I see our design community continuing to advocate for inclusivity and embracing new technologies. As I move forward, I carry with me the spirit of Arizona — a place of boundless possibility. Together, we'll shape a future where design remains a driving force in our ever-evolving world, one letter and one brand at a time.
