Since the brewery leans heavily on Japanese style and will eventually be paired with an authentic ramen shop, the client desired a minimalist label setup, but we knew it needed to be flexible. We settled on a color block system that not only gave us the flexibility to use illustrations but tap into the color blocks for variations if we wanted to. Pun intended.

I tell any designers who will listen, if you can find a brewer to work with, they are literally the best clients. Very few times have I been asked not to do something, or to significantly change direction.
