On the Brink Nutrition Collective is a team of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists that give people permission to eat food. They are a guide on the journey toward liberation from restriction, diets, and oppressive food systems. They help their clients heal their relationship with food by working through the biology and physiology of nutrition as well as the social structures that affect how and what we eat.
The Founder Liz Brinkman had been running her practice for years under her own name but was ready to expand and welcome in a team with a united message. We worked with Liz to craft a new name, a new look, and a new way forward.
It was crucial that we crafted a brand for Liz that represented her views on body positivity, inclusivity, and hope. Rather than show a typical team sitting in an office, we knew we needed to capture the sense of adventure and aspirational thinking that would invite their audience in. We leveraged the brand personality to craft prominent messages such as "For Women on the Brink," "There is a wilderness inside of you waiting to be nourished" and "Don't waste another moment at war with your body." We used editorial brand photography, custom illustrations, and intentional use of color to capture the sentiment inspired by nature, hiking, and adventure– to give people the sense of community once found at the sleep-away camps of our childhood.
Our work included foundational brand strategy such as naming, messaging, positioning, brand personality, audience profiling, competitive analysis, and tone of voice as well as visual identity design, art direction, illustration, brand photography, brand videography, and web design.
Now they have an intentional, strategic, and authentic brand that sets them apart from others in their industry and attracts the exact right kind of clients.

For a long time, I've been telling myself stories that aren't true. Stories like, "I'm not a real Creative Director because my expertise is in copy and not design" or "my small agency doesn't deserve recognition." But I'm shedding those old narratives and ready to step into the light, take up space, and claim my place in the Arizona creative community. I'm proud of the work I've done in collaboration with my incredible team. We're really building something here and regardless of whether we win awards or are recognized by our peers, I'm excited about the impact we're making for our clients. As a female-founded and all-female team, I'm thrilled to represent our unique ability to empathize, communicate, and nurture– all vital parts of building a brave, bold, and brag-worthy brand.
