Just me, Amanda :).

This poster is significant (to me) because my new client only gave me 4 hours to create posters to print for an upcoming concert (that didn't exist the day before!). This poster is for an Argentinian/Latino singer, Dread Mar I, concert happening next month.

The music/festival industry is ever-changing and as a designer working in this realm, I've never been challenged so much in my design career. It wasn't just significant to my client that I made it happen, but to myself by proving I'm capable of it. As a new designer, this was a proud moment for me..

I love the design community and how open we all are about the struggles we face (sleepless nights, unpaid invoices, ghosted proposals, etc.). We're all in it together and despite continuous uncertainties and hardships, we truly create magic :). I'm lucky to dabble in the music industry since music is such a pillar of culture and I get to resonate that within my designs. This particular poster was special as it's a Latino signer from Argentina and I'm over the moon seeing this type of music (finally) gaining traction in a city like Scottsdale! It was fun to lean into his unique culture and branding and influence it with my own design aesthetic.
