"All Aboard" First Place Poster

Poster project for First Place (https://www.firstplaceaz.org), an independent living facility for people with neurodiverse abilities. The poster is for a fall event featuring speaker Blair Bunting (talking about his passion project of photographing trains) and the music of Laura Dooley. Given the train theme, I wanted to create a piece that spoke to the many paths people with autism take to get to their destinations. Strangely, the music connection worked pretty seamlessly with the trains and the complexity paid homage to the work First Place does in guiding people down their unique path to independence. My favorite bit was using the first bars of the Beatles "Long and Winding Road" as the notes. Oh, and maybe a hidden Mickey.
